This year was my first time performing in one of the absolutely massive block parties here in Providence for Pride. Our gay bars know how to throw a PARTY! It was so exciting to build something *big* for the event and to share a stage with some of the most talented performers in New England. It took a few months of diligent work to bring this costume to life, from building the disco shoulders out of chicken wire, to my wife and I rhinestoning the body suit well into the wee hours of the night. But it was worth every second and all of the stabbed fingers to get to bring this performance to life on such a big stage. (There were reportedly 8,000 people that attended the Dark Lady Block party this year!!)
